An E-Business Leader must be:
Business-savvy
- Must be able to think "big picture" and be able to separate operational thinking from strategic thinking
- Must have "soft skills" to be able to maintain formal and informal channels of upward, downward, and lateral communication within an organization
Analytical
- Must be curious
- Must be relentless
- Must maintain attention to detail
Technical
- Must be comfortable with technology
- Leverages technological expertise to help identify new trends and opportunities
The voice of the end-user
- Must utilize end-user insights (consumer and/or customer) and industry expertise to establish user experience guidelines
