Business-savvy

  • Must be able to think "big picture" and be able to separate operational thinking from strategic thinking
  • Must have "soft skills" to be able to maintain formal and informal channels of upward, downward, and lateral communication within an organization

Analytical

  • Must be curious
  • Must be relentless
  • Must maintain attention to detail

Technical

  • Must be comfortable with technology
  • Leverages technological expertise to help identify new trends and opportunities

The voice of the end-user

  • Must utilize end-user insights (consumer and/or customer) and industry expertise to establish user experience guidelines
