Mike - The point behind the blog post was to illustrate the confusion their website created for me as a potential buyer. Based on what you wrote, it sounds like you found information on the differences between their products not from the Tempur-pedic website or from the marketing materials they emailed to you, but from other sites as a result of your Google search.

A manufacturer website should be able to provide all of the comparison information I need in order to understand the difference between their own manufactured products. Not just a feature listing, but a benefit of those features. For example, on the Tempur-pedic product comparison page above, I can't see what the benefits of a "T-Flex Support System" base layer are compared to a "Dual AirFlow System" base layer or why I'd choose one over the other.

You're kidding, right? Your first question: “What is the difference between a quilted Tempur-HD and a quilted Tempur comfort layer?” That was my actual Google search. A search I made after quickly skimming over some voluminous Tempur-pedic marketing materials mailed to me at my request. It’s how I found your article, the fourth online article I read following my online search. Your question was answered in the first online article I read. All your other questions were answered in the other two articles I read before reading your article. Your ramblings are just a publicity stunt or an attempt at humor, right? If not, in the time it took you to write your piece, you could be well on your way to a comfortable nights sleep. After only fifteen minutes online, I only need a quick visit to the store to chose Tempur-pedic Rhapsody or Tempur-pedic Original; the choice between the feel of Tempur-HD and regular Tempur. (HD stands for high-density.) I suppose your Erma Bombeck style and Andy Rooney criticisms may be humorous to some. I found them to be inaccurate, unfair to Tempur-pedic corporation, and unhelpful. A very negative way to spend time. Mike.
